Care of miniature paintings: The protective coating is water resistant, however minitures should not be soaked in liquid. Do not wear in the shower or pool! Protect your miniature from situations where the surface could be scratched. Do not store loose in a purse or jewelry box. Store your miniature in the box it came in when not being worn, or store on a display stand or in a frame. And as with any fine art, avoid extended exposure to direct sunlight.
Settings are hand made 14k Gold Fill or Sterling Silver with large bails that will fit on most chains. Extra large bails can be ordered by special request. Most of the pieces are already set in Gold Fill, but almost any can be set in Silver. Please specify Gold or Silver when you order.
